All I ever here is "I would drive an electric vehicle, but it doesn't have enough power", well this 1974 Datsun has a lot of power. This power house goes from 0-60 in 4 seconds and it is street legal. The guy who made this car (John Wayland) lives in Portland. John actually helps build and improve heavy equipment batteries. The Datsun can only travel 30 miles at a time, and it does not have a heater. John is currently working on making the battery last a bit longer. The only problem (and it is not a bad problem) is when you press the accelerator, the car is at full power. If you have ever played with an electric train/car set, you have noticed that the power was available right away. For the women out there, this may be a bad idea (just joking).
