We had a great Christmas this year. We had an early morning Christmas at our place and then it was off to Grandma's. The whole family got together and exchanged presents. My parents just bought a WII, so my brother-in-law and I played it most of the day. We had a really good time. Here is are come pictures to sum up Christmas.

Jacob loves the Christmas tree. Here are some pictures of him posing with mom and dad. I think he liked mom holding him more that dad......

1974 Datsun 1200

All I ever here is "I would drive an electric vehicle, but it doesn't have enough power", well this 1974 Datsun has a lot of power. This power house goes from 0-60 in 4 seconds and it is street legal. The guy who made this car (John Wayland) lives in Portland. John actually helps build and improve heavy equipment batteries. The Datsun can only travel 30 miles at a time, and it does not have a heater. John is currently working on making the battery last a bit longer. The only problem (and it is not a bad problem) is when you press the accelerator, the car is at full power. If you have ever played with an electric train/car set, you have noticed that the power was available right away. For the women out there, this may be a bad idea (just joking). Jacob has three favorite times in a day. They are breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were lucky enough to catch lunch. Here is a little video of him eating his meal.

Flight of the Concords

One of my co-workers turned me onto the flight of the concords the other night. I guess it is a comedy series on HBO. I haven't seen a lot of the footage from the show itself, but I have youtube it quite bit. I have already got Etsuko hooked. I am sure it will only be a matter of time before you guys are hooked also. If you guys interested in watching the first season, it just got released in stores.

First Time Blogger

Hey guys,

This is my first entry into my blog. I started this blog so you guys can keep caught up in our busy life. With Jacob growing up so fast, we need to start a journal. I hope all you enjoy the postings. I will try to keep this blog up to date.

Jacob is 15 months old. He is getting really big. He took is first steps a couple days ago. I took a video of it, so I will post it on the blog (that is if I can figure out how to do it). I graduated college last summer, and I have been working for Target Distribution. I really like working there. Etsuko is doing great. She is enjoying staying at home with Jacob. She is also glad that I am finally working.

We are hoping to buy a house this summer. That is going to be exciting. Well I hope you guys stay active with this blog.
